We are seeking Production Technicians to join our team, contributing to the production of high-quality plants that adhere to company standards and comply with state regulations. As a Production Technician, you will play a vital role in either the harvesting, trimming, or packaging processes. Our production team operates on a 4-day workweek, working 10 hours per day. We offer a variety of shifts start times working either Sunday through Wednesday OR Wednesday through Saturday.

Job Summary
Production Technicians are part of a team producing high quality plants that meet company standards and while following all compliance requirements for a state regulated system. The Production Department includes Harvest, Trimming and Packaging and is responsible for the efficiency and quality of the plant in preparation for sale.  The ideal candidate is good with their hands and able to sit or stand in one place all day.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Harvest, trim, and package plants in accordance with company guidelines, quality standards and state regulations.
• Able to meet Production minimum standards of packaging 80+ units or trimming 1.5+ pounds per day while meeting company standards.
• Efficiently hand trim plants with care, using hands or scissors, wearing gloves, and applying gentle techniques to avoid damage.
• Weigh and package the product in preparation for the sale package dry and/or liquid product using manual labor along with automated equipment.
• Assist in the manual labor of harvesting and drying of plants.
• Ensuring compliance with all state regulations, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Maintain a clean, SAFE and organized work environment.
• Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes

Working Conditions
The employee will work in environments that include exposure to, but not limited to dirt, fertilizers, dusts, odors, fumes, high heat, low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, heights, indoor A/C, no A/C, and other environmental variables.  The employee may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday and must have a high regard for self-management, time management, and scheduling of activities.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs. with or without assistance as needed
• Ability to stand on concrete floor for up to 8 hours a day
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be able to pass a Florida Department of Law Enforcement Level 2 Background Screening
• Must be able to work in a cultivation/plant environment with varying temperatures, humidity, and moderate to loud noise levels

Skills / Knowledge:

• Able to consistently work in a focused, quick, and efficient manner while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Maintain a culture of professionalism.
• Comply with all company policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
• Must be able to comfortably lift 25-50 lbs. 
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, crouch, sit, and reach for long periods of time.

Education / Background:

• Must be able to pass a Florida Department of Health Office of Medical Marijuana Use Level 2 Background Screening.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience would be beneficial, but not required.
