Overview

iAnthus is looking for an Accounts Receivable Lead in Toronto to oversee collections and drive automation initiatives that enhance efficiency and improve cash flow. This is a hands-on role that balances operational oversight with process innovation. This role will report to the Corporate Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the accounts receivable function, overseeing billing, collections, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Champion the use of automation tools and technology to streamline AR processes, reduce DSO, and improve collection efficiency.
  • Manage customer relationships and oversee escalation of overdue accounts.
  • Review and analyze AR aging reports, providing insights to senior management on collection trends and risks.
  • Partner with Sales and Operations to resolve disputes and ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Support month-end close, audits, and compliance requirements
  • Recommend and implement process improvements across AR.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounts receivable/collections experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
  • Experience with accounting software (Sage X3, Intact) and ERP systems.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving ability and experience implementing AR automation solutions.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Hybrid in-office attendance with a minimum of two days per week at our Toronto office.
