Summary/Objective:
The Senior Dispensary Lead supports daily dispensary operations while taking on advanced leadership responsibilities including inventory management, training, and compliance support. This role is a key point of contact for both staff and customers and plays an essential role in maintaining accurate operations and a compliant, customer-first environment.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee inventory procedures and help train Leads on systems such as METRC and Dutchie

  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies

  • Intake and stock deliveries, sign manifests, and support SOP adherence

  • Audit patient intake forms for accuracy

  • Provide weekly inventory and sales feedback to the General Manager

  • Maintain proper recordkeeping (e.g., cash handling, chain of custody, waste logs)

  • Assist with patient home delivery coordination and the Verified Financial Hardship (VFH) program

  • Help coach and support Leads and new hires through touch bases, reviews, and ongoing training

  • Participate in management meetings and team development activities

  • Update the communication binder and ensure team access to current information

  • Act as a key holder with responsibility for store opening/closing and balancing cash/product

  • Educate team members on product offerings and regulatory changes

  • Engage with patients/customers during consultation and sale

  • Consistently promote a welcoming, compassionate, and knowledgeable environment

  • Uphold iAnthus brand standards, including store aesthetics, music, and cleanliness

  • Represent the brand in a positive, professional manner

  • Embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion in daily operations

Qualifications and Education:

  • At least 21 years of age

  • Minimum six months as a Lead Dispensary Agent or equivalent experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred

  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or high-volume environments

  • Proficient in Excel, POS, and inventory systems

  • Knowledge of local and state cannabis laws (preferred)

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check


Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and kneel repetitively during an 8-hour shift

  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Comfort working in environments with noise, odors, dust, AC/no AC, and motion

  • Frequent ladder usage (up to 12 feet) and general hardware tools

Pay Rate: $21.25/hr
