Who You Are:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, process-driven Quality Supervisor to oversee the implementation and execution of our QA/QC program across all departments: cultivation, harvest, trimming, extraction, and packaging. This role ensures regulatory compliance, internal SOP adherence, product consistency, and quality documentation management at the site level. The Quality Supervisor will act as the site-level quality lead, coordinating cross-functional inspections, managing audit readiness, conducting structured investigations into quality deviations, and overseeing all third-party lab testing logistics and documentation.

Responsibilities:
· Serve as the primary QA/QC point of contact for all site departments: cultivation, post-harvest, extraction, and packaging.
· Manage day-to-day execution of quality inspections, sampling programs, and sanitation audits.
· Coordinate quality review meetings and drive cross-functional accountability for CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
· Monitor environmental and production data for trends that may indicate quality risks.
· Coordinate all third-party lab submissions across cultivation, extraction, and packaging batches.
· Prepare and verify all sample documentation, including COAs, chain-of-custody forms, and sample manifests.
· Track test status and follow up with labs to ensure timely turnaround of results.
· Review COAs for accuracy, completeness, and pass/fail status; escalate failures immediately to site leadership.
· Ensure all lab results are properly logged and accessible for audit and compliance review.
· Maintain and update QA/QC documentation including SOPs, batch records, sanitation logs, and inspection checklists.
· Ensure all documentation is completed in real time and meets internal and regulatory requirements.
· Audit departmental logbooks and escalate any compliance gaps or inconsistencies.
· Lead structured root cause investigations using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone, or Pareto analysis.
· Document and track corrective actions and ensure verification of effectiveness.
· Coordinate with department leads to implement process changes driven by quality issues.
· Conduct quality training for staff on SOPs, GMPs, and product handling best practices.
· Support onboarding of new employees with role-specific quality expectations.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve first-pass quality and reduce deviation frequency.
· Ensure site is audit-ready at all times through organized documentation, clean workspaces, and trained personnel.
· Participate in internal, third-party, and regulatory inspections; serve as QA representative for the site.
· Track and respond to audit findings, ensure timely resolution and follow-up.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications a plus
3+ years of experience in QA/QC or compliance within a regulated manufacturing or cannabis environment
Proven ability to manage quality programs and cross-functional accountability
Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality management systems
Excellent planning, documentation, and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality-related tracking systems
Must pass a criminal background check
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
Ability to bend, lift, squat, kneel, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
Must be comfortable working in environments that include exposure to dirt, dust, allergens, high/low temperatures, noise, odors, and vibrations
Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to use tools and equipment including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and general hardware tools
Extended use of computers and digital documentation platforms
Starting Salary Range:
$65,000 - $75,000
