Job Summary
The Inventory Control Coordinator will be responsible for unloading packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the purchase orders, stocking inventory and identifying discrepancies in deliveries. The Inventory Control Coordinator will also have a great eye for detail, familiarity with inventory control, warehousing, and have basic math skills. Must also have adequate capability to unload large, bulky and heavy shipments, along with the clerical skills to update records and communicate with Inventory Control Lead and Procurement business partners. This is a full-time opportunity located in our Lake Wales, Florida grow facility with work hours of 3:00 am to 1:30 pm 4 days per week. (Schedule subject to change in the future)
Responsibilities
- Support Inventory Lead in managing the physical inventory location
- Utilize inventory controls to track and account for all facilities non cannabis inventory and ensure optimization of procedures.
- Coordinate with the Inventory Lead for order fulfillment needs and executing fulfillment of these orders with the Logistics and Production Department.
- Receive shipments, inspect, unload packages and sign paperwork upon receipt.
- Operate forklift as needed as needed to receive orders, deliver items, and move inventory.
- Verify packages according to purchase order and shipping manifest.
- Provide stock/inventory supplies to appropriate departments in the facility.
- Maintain accurate receiving records, inventory cycle counts for stock materials.
- Partner with the Quality team to coordinate the pickup of outgoing material samples and update tracking log.
- Proper storage, labeling, tracking, and reporting of inventory.
- Cycle count regularly/daily to analyze inventory levels and review the balance of inventory in stock.
- Picking products for order fulfillment, investigate inventory variances and identify root cause with solution.
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely, ability to obtain forklift certification
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data (Excel, Word, ERP Systems)
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Will work weekends, holidays and overtime based on the needs of the Department and the overall business.
- Must pass a Florida Department of Law Enforcement Office of Medical Marijuana Use Level 2 Background Screening
- Basic math skills, recording abilities, detail oriented, excellent organizational and communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. daily
- Daily requirements of pushing, pulling, lifting, standing, stooping, reaching, climbing, twisting, bending
- May require use of respirator in the workplace to protect against exposure to occupational dusts, fumes, mists, gases, and vapors; medical clearance and fit testing may be required before use of respirator.

WORK SCHEDULE: All weekdays, including weekends, are covered by Inventory Control staff. Specific schedules will be assigned based on areas covered and the needs of the business/department. Overtime is anticipated on an as needed basis. Employee will be scheduled to work on most holidays, Full time, minimum 40hrs/wk.
