Job Summary
As a Packager, you play a critical role in the final stages of product preparation.  You’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient assembly, weighing, sealing, and labeling of various edible cannabis products, maintaining the highest standards of quality control throughout the packaging process. This position requires a keen eye for detail, adherence to sanitation protocols, and a commitment to delivering cannabis products that meet the highest quality standards in the industry. This position follows a four-day, 10-hour schedule from 2:00 pm to 1:00 am, which may change in the future.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Package cannabis product using manual labor along with automated equipment as trained 
  • Must demonstrate a good attitude and strong initiative, along with a positive work ethic and superior attendance
  • Must be a team player, respectful and professional in the workplace at all times
  • Will be cross-trained on all areas of packaging and/or related equipment 
  • Will be required to read, comprehend and follow explicit instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Will be required to follow established and federally regulated GMPs and Good Documentation Processes 
  • Must be available to work the shift hired into and assigned to
  • Weekend, holiday, and overtime work may be required based on business and production needs, with flexibility expected to accommodate changing schedules.
  • Requires use of personal protective equipment that may include but not be limited to closed toe shoes, respiratory protection equipment and hearing protection 
  • Work is performed in a lab setting with biohazards/various chemicals 
  • Must keep work environment clean at all times 
  • Ability to work with various levels of noise 
  • Must be dedicated to and follow Company safety, quality and production expectations
Qualifications and Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Experience in a manufacturing/packaging environment preferred
  • Mechanical skills preferred
  • Previous experience in the medical marijuana packaging process is beneficial but not required
  • Must pass a Florida Department of Health Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU) Level 2 Background Screening
  • Must be 21 years of age
